Really Terrible Orchestra
The REALLY TERRIBLE ORCHESTRA is a Scottish comedy about a band of musical misfits who form a unique ensemble where enthusiasm triumphs over talent.
A humorous and relatable story about opposites attracting and unlikely friendships forming, the RTO offers an opportunity to show what truly makes us human - the desire to connect and make music together with its almost magical ability to heal. Undeterred by lack of ability the RTO regale audiences with their unique renditions of some classic melodies - all the right notes were played, but not necessarily in the correct order.
Written by world renowned novelist, Alexander McCall Smith and based on the real-life RTO, he founded in Edinburgh, this orchestra will become the “family” no-one knew they needed.
